Almira was founded in Abu Dhabi by Ahmad Abuisnaineh, following years of advisory work across the Gulf's most significant residential transactions. The founding premise was simple and, at the time, unfashionable: that a boutique approach — fewer mandates, more depth, longer client relationships — would outperform the volume model that dominated UAE brokerage.
The early years were spent building the private client network that Almira still operates from today: family offices, regional principals, and returning expatriates who wanted one house, not many, to manage their UAE real-estate exposure. The referral-only approach meant growth was slower but the quality of the book was consistently higher.
Today, Almira advises on the full arc of residential ownership — from first acquisition through portfolio management, resale, and legacy planning. We remain small by deliberate choice. The model works because it is focused, not despite it.
The Sama Yas exclusive mandate, awarded in 2024, represents a new chapter: primary market development partnerships that sit alongside our private client advisory work and extend our access to Abu Dhabi's most significant upcoming communities.
